A Good Start

I couldn't be more pleased with 2013. I have not only been drawing more than ever, I have been getting paid for the bulk of it. It is a strange feeling when everything you've been working towards becomes your reality. It reminds me of when you first start dating someone way out of your league, whom you've been crushing on forever. You do your best to play it cool, not wanting to come off as too excited and overeager. You want the world to believe this is the level you've always been associated with- "oh ya, I've only dated 10s," even though the truth is the highest number you've been with is maybe a 6.5? Although I am doing my best to quell my bubbling joy (no one likes someone who is too happy), right now everything feels really good. Also, look at this dog I got to recently draw:

Okay, enough positivity. To balance this post, I will also mention what is not going so well. I am trying to eat Paleo. DEPRESSING. Also, I am trying to get faster. This involves Scott waiting for me at the end of a run so we can run the last mile together. I wish I was a better writer so I could fully describe the pain explosion this causes me. I assume I'm looking like something from the Walking Dead to the public I hobble by.
