farm sketches

I'm still cranking away on my Mr. Rogers, farm animals project. The art I'm working on is going into an app for kids. Kid art is something I'm familiar with, but the app is definitely a new medium for me. Thinking about file size and coding (coding someone else is doing), while trying to draw appealing characters has been challenging, and definitely a learning experience. Luckily, the creator is great and has had a lot of patience with me. We aren't at final art yet, but I thought I'd show some (rejected) sketches that I'm still very fond of.

Thankfully, the story for the app is much better than my captions above. Looking forward to sharing the final product!
