this was a real photo shoot

As a team captain, I often get asked, "how do you keep your team motivated?" Perhaps unconventional, but along with painful, humiliating punishment, I want each team member to feel special. Let them know that I care about them. Last week I arranged a personal photo shoot for each member of my team with our namesake. Zen, as a professional, is a natural in front of the camera and her ease and grace has brought the best out of each teammate. Here's a sneak peek of Zen and Beth:

I especially appreciate the lovely, delicate shadows the natural light has cast on the ground. The photographer (I sprung for a professional, obviously), in a very Cartier-Bresson fashion, truly captured that "decisive moment." I'm glad we have it here. FOREVER.
