draw a dog friday: birdie and jackson

I know and love Birdie (she is actually Rex and Summer's baby cousin). After many tries, I have not been able to properly capture her Birdie-ness. To compensate I went crazy with Iphone-like effects:

 Birdie, I will try again with a cousins' picture.  

Next, we have Jackson:

As you can see, Jackson is a very independent young man. He is a Southern gentlemen, residing in Hoover, Alabama. His interests include chewing on things he shouldn't be and sneaking onto the couch. Can't really blame him though, no one likes being told what to do.
