draw your mom monday: okay, i know it's tuesday

Yesterday, I had a mom drawn and ready to go. I got some chores done, came back to post but instead found myself in a major "ugh" moment - ugh, I made this mom kinda trollish. That is not the point of Draw Your Mom Monday (well, I guess unless your mom really does look like a troll). I took a second crack at it today. Here is Eileen:

Just noticed I lost her legs with the dramatic lighting, but believe me, a much closer rendering of Eileen and her classy sass (I assume that is where her daughter inherited from). I am trying to make bold lipstick my new "thing" (it's starting out a bit awkwardly) and am jealous at how effortlessly Eileen can pull off this vintage red. Eileen, as well as being a fashionista is Parker's grandma.

Off to the best coast in just two days! I will be bringing my computer but hopefully I will be doing too much poolside drinking that drawing will be impossible. In any case, anything that you send me will be drawn eventually: julianna.w.rose@gmail.com
